Have a short memory…my coaches told me this when I began playing football. Regardless of a good or bad play, the past is the past. You can’t go back and fix it. This advice is relevant to everything in life. It’s easy to get fixated on past success or failures. By fixating on past accomplishments or failures, one can easily lose sight of what’s needed to win the day. The next time you feel yourself dwelling on the past, hit reset. Gather your thoughts, refocus on the task at hand, and attack your mission. You’ll be glad you did. Now get it done!
